Church Security: Where to Start? (and more)

March 7, 2020
9:00am-12:00pm

Most church leaders and parishioners realize that an armed aggressor is a genuine threat to America’s churches. Often, the biggest problem is taking the first steps to security. But what are those steps? Where does one start? Physical security? Unarmed teams? Church policies?  Even if your church already has an established team, you’ll walk away with something new.

East Idaho Church Security presents a training seminar that will help churches get started making their churches a safer place:

  • Mr. Allen Perez (retired police officer, SWAT, Gangs, Financial Crimes, and Law Enforcement Instructor) will present a session on Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).

  • Pastor Tim Rupp (retired police officer and author of Pistol in the Pulpit) will discuss situational awareness, necessary teams, and team selection.

  • Mr. Harlan F. Lerum II, (East Idaho Church Security) Nuts and Bolts of starting a Church Safety Ministry.
